The primary responsibility of the PTA Membership Committee is to build an informed, active membership which is familiar with the mission, objects, policies and programs of the PTA and how it affects local concerns.
The Membership Chair and Committee are responsible for promoting, increasing and retaining PTA membership at the state and local level, giving everyone the opportunity to help. When you join your the WSES PTA, you automatically become part of North Carolina PTA and National PTA.
Your membership entitles you to the opportunity to learn about the education, health, and well being of children and to have a voice in addressing these issues through a national network. WSES PTA Membership dues are currently $5.50.
At the beginning of each school year, you will receive an envelope from the PTA to use to join or renew your membership. More envelopes are available in the school office in the PTA mailbox. Please ask for assistance. Make out your checks to WSES PTA. (*Reminder: memberships are per person not for the entire family.)
